79th Independence Day Celebration

The school gathered in the quadrangle at eight o'clock for the flag hoisting, followed by the national anthem and a short address from the Correspondent on what independence asks of each generation.

The programme that followed belonged to the students. Primary classes presented patriotic songs and a group march, while the Pre-Primary children spent the morning making tricolour flags, pinwheels and hand-print charts in their classrooms.

Sweets were distributed at the close, and the flags the children made went home with them the same afternoon.
